Navy and Tan Boy’s Bedroom

This is our seven year old’s FINISHED room…painted Benjamin Moore’s Manchester Tan

The desk was a yard sale find. We painted the metal part navy. The floor lamp is Target.

Lantern is Target (7 years ago). Fan is Target (2 years ago). Stand and suitcases- thrift store score

I have no idea what these stickers mean. Why would an airline stamp ‘rotten’ and ‘yield’ on someone’s suitcase?

My husband made this bookshelf many years ago when light pine furniture was the thing. I didn’t know if we would be able to use it somewhere without a paint/stain update. It seemed to work well with his other pieces… and only required dusting!

I knew that I wanted his room to be these colors long before we had this room. I chose this quilt pattern to keep my mind occupied during real estate stress;). It kept my brain too busy to focus on anything else while I worked on it. Then things got crazy as the move neared. My mother used machine quilting and a tan sheet to turn this baby-sized pieced quilt into a twin size.
