I created this space for all of those who have asked  ‘what did you do?’ and  ‘what do you eat?’ .

First of all, Thank You!

Asking those questions is a huge compliment and keeps me encouraged to keep going on my fitness and nutrition journey.  As I am starting this site, I am getting back to my usual routine after a 3 week workout hiatus following an illness.  I usually workout 3-5 days a week.  I usually eat 5-6 small meals a day.  I try to make those foods as whole and nutritionally sound as possible.  Sometimes they are not.  I keep the carb intake low and the protein intake high.  Sometimes I don’t.  Follow along as I keep tabs on myself.  As always, I highly recommend checking in with your personal MD before beginning on any new diet/ exercise program.

Second of all, we are hoping to soon move into a new and bigger home.  I am both excited and overwhelmed at the prospect of so many changes.  Follow our journey as we say goodbye to our current home and hello to a new home.  There will probably be some Pinterest drooling and renovation pics along the way.

Last but not least, I am a wife, mother of 4, and some days a lactation consultant.   While I am reserving this sight for ventures outside of my primary roles in life, I may occasionally allude to my day job as it’s kind of a full-time gig.  My apologies in advance if you’re here for the diet, workouts, or choosing a paint color for your kitchen.
